As a child I always dreamed of becoming a ballerina. After I realized that required balance, grace, and fucking up your toes I moved on to the dream of becoming a published author. Not what many ten year olds want, but about as achievable as becoming rock stars, actors and astronauts.
But things are changing in the publishing world, and with e-books a whole new world is opening up, I wont repeat what Patrick said on e books, getting around the gatekeeper, but he has a point, there are a million reasons to self publish. I like them all. The problem? In order to be an author, of traditional or self published fame (or obscurity for that matter), you need to actually write.
Finally I have got my act together enough to co-author a motorcycle handbook with Patrick. It’s mini, it is basically a sample run to figure out the whole formatting fun of self publishing and how the whole thing works. My first full length travel memoir will be out in November.
Until then we need someone who wants to beta read our handbook. We want some comments and opinions before we release it onto Amazon and Smashwords premium distribution. If you are interested let me know! You get a free copy! WHEEEEE!
